This page is dedicated to my favorite musical experience: 14 years of singing
with the wonderful New Trix a cappella Quartet of Sacramento, California.

The New Trix Quartet is no longer active, but a few songs of the quartet's large repertoire will be preserved here for visitors to enjoy. The three CDs below were recorded in Rancho Cordova, CA in 2003, by recording engineer and producer Steve Walker (husband of Lin Kassouni Walker, the quartet's soprano). Here's a quick introduction to the quartet members:

Soprano Lin Kassouni Walker
hails from California, and she joined New Trix in the 90's, when the quartet was still searching for the perfect sound. Lin made all the difference! Lin is a vocal student of Dorothy Renzie and Julia Monroe, and has broad experience as a singer, both as a soloist and in musical theater and opera, along with many great choral groups. In addition to her beautiful voice, Lin is an accomplished pianist.
  Alto Georgeann Everett
(she's the one in blue) is a native of Indiana who is constantly in demand as a singer. In the Sacramento area she has sung in the Symphony Chorus, the Opera Chorus, the Sacramento Chorale, the Andrews Sister-style trio "Cameo", the Renaissance singers "The Silver Swan", the women's chorus "Chanteuses", in addition to New Trix Quartet. That's a lot of music to learn.

Tenor Paul Lillebo
was born in Norway and grew up in Chicago. He has sung solo and with groups wherever he has been, including in the Navy. He sang with the Apollo Musical Club of Chicago, the Sacramento Chorale, the Silver Swan Singers, and the Sacramento Opera Chorus. He has directed and arranged for several groups, including New Trix and the Sacramento Classical Guitar Quartet, which he also formed.

Bass Bob Blackstone
first saw the light of day in China. Hearing the quartet, you cannot wonder that his remarkable voice has been much sought after, and many New Trix songs have been arranged to showcase his special talents. Dr.Bob, former professor and environmental manager, met Paul and Georgeann as members of the Silver Swan singers of Sacramento, which thus should get some credit for germinating New Trix - "Thank you, Beverly!"

And now, the songs:

(Do our bass a favor and listen with ear phones or a good sound system, not through the computer speaker.)
